My name is Maddy Jacques and I am a senior at Triton High School.
Outside of school I’m either playing softball, hanging out with friends, or watching netflix. I live with my mom, dad, sister, dog, and cat.
I never planned on being a professional journalist, I took this class because I thought it would be good to get out and help myself feel more comfortable talking to and getting to know random strangers. So far it has been really fun and I am looking forward to finding out what goes on behind the scenes at Triton High School.
Everyone reads news, even if they’re not reading the newspaper specifically. I think it’s important that schools have a news source so people within, and outside of our school can see what’s going on.
After high school I plan to attend college and major in business. I love everything about real estate. I grew up watching HGTV all the time and that’s how I realized I wanted to buy and sell homes.
