Marcella Hubbard-Brucher, Staff Writer
Hey! My name is Marcella Hubbard-Brucher. I’m a senior at Triton High School. Inside school I play the flute in the Concert Band and sing in the Singers. After school I am part of the Color Guard in both the fall and winter seasons. I work at Marini Farms after school somedays and on the weekends. I have one younger brother who is a Freshman. I have a cat, dog and a fish. I like the aspect of journalism that allows me to learn about people’s lives and things that may be surprising or interesting about them. I hope to bring more profiles and unique stories to the paper because I think there are a lot of things and people around our school that go unnoticed and are under appreciated. I think having a school newspaper is important because it allows people to hear about things that are happening in their school and in their community that they may have had no clue about otherwise. After highschool I am planning to go to a four year college in Massachusetts and major in elementary education. Once out of college, I hope to be a classroom teacher in an elementary school in Massachusetts. I want to adopt a cat and a dog just like I have at home now. I’d also like to live in the city at some point in my life. I am bilingual in French and English. I lived in Germany from ages one to five. Most of my father’s side of the family lives in Switzerland and we visit them there about once a year. You can reach me at [email protected].
