Sage Woodward

Hi! My name is Sage Woodward and I’m a senior at Triton High School. I really enjoy participating in clubs and activities and getting involved. I’m currently president of Triton’s GSA (Gender Sexuality Alliance) and I lead Triton’s new Bring Change to Mind club. I am also an officer of our school’s Environmental Club, and I am a class officer for the class of 2022. I am co-captain of the Winter Guard team this season, and I enjoy volunteering and babysitting as well. I have a sister named Sadie, who is pursuing Environmental Studies and is a Triton graduate.

I enjoy journalism because I love learning about people’s lives and researching important issues and how they can be solved. I definitely believe the school newspaper and journalism are important in order for everyone to stay informed and have their voice heard in the community.

My goals in life are to help people everywhere as much as I can, hopefully through social work or through providing people with the help they need through work in other countries. I’m very passionate about social justice and leadership, as well as helping the people in our community and worldwide who need it.
