Matt Toppi, Staff Writer
My name is Matt Toppi. I am from Rowley, Mass and I am a senior in Mr. Allen’s C Period Journalism class. I enjoy covering news based stories for the Triton Voice Newspaper because they are based off of actual events. Journalism is important because it gets the news out to the public but allows the Journalists to have their own voice at the same time. The sky's the limit in Journalism because there is so many things to write about.
I work at Dunkin Donuts in Newburyport. I have worked there for over a year now and enjoy it due to it being my first job where I am treated as an adult. I play guitar as a hobby during my freetime. I started learning guitar at the age of just 9 and now here I am another lifetime later at the age of 18 continuing to play. I am very much into sports. I enjoy relaxing at the end of the day with the TV on watching a game. This has branched into my passion for things like fantasy sports which I do on my free time.
Someday I hope to own a business after attending college for a Major in Business and Management. Although college is not necessary for those who want to start a business, I believe it will help me learn all there is to know in the business industry.
As for now I am going to finish my senior year at Triton High School and continue writing for the school paper.
