From an outside perspective, many think all lip glosses are alike; today’s review will prove that theory otherwise.
In the makeup world, finding the perfect lip gloss can be a hassle. Whether it is too thick or thin, too shiny or too matte and most importantly, too cheap or too pricey, finding the right lip gloss to satisfy each category takes time. So to save readers the trouble, we took on the task for you.
The Triton Voice used and reviewed eight lip glosses, some of which claim to be the best on the market. Each have different attributes that make them stand out better than others such as price, taste, and texture. The products we tested are shown in the table.
After reviewing all the options, we took into consideration three major factors to have with li gloss: The shine and the glossiness, the taste and thickness, and the overall price for the product you’re getting.
Precisely looking at all the strong details are important in having a good lip gloss in your everyday look. The lip glosses that scored highly in our testing are Laneige and Refy. The lip glosses with the most shine and gloss were definitely, Refy and Marin. But the applicator for Refy was far smoother and offered a better portion when applying. Additionally, if you’re looking for a lip gloss with tint, then the best option would be Refy.
Having the overall high scores for longest lasting and still roughly a good shine was Laneige. Another plus about this product is that you can apply it with your hand, depending on how much you want.
Both Laneige and Refy had different benefits from one another. They are roughly the same price of $20. Depending on what you want, either a tinted lip gloss or one that has a strong shine that lasts awhile, we recommend these two brands.
