Hi, my name is Jacqueline Downs, 18, and I am a senior at Triton. While this is my first year in Journalism, so far I have really enjoyed reporting on what is going on in the school and community. In my free time I enjoy trying new recipes and volunteering at Anna Jaques. As I have recently started getting up at four in the morning to go to the gym, my new favorite activity is sleeping, especially during the weekends and snow days when I can sleep in. Next year, I plan on attending a four-year college for a bachelor’s degree in nursing and potentially moving on to getting my master’s degree. Journalism class has inspired me to be more aware of what is going on in my community and has allowed me to be more involved in Triton for my senior year.
