70 thousand people gather to hear Taylor Swift during a downpour.

Walking into the Gillette Stadium there was a feeling of community. Many people were swapping bracelets, taking pictures with friends, and standing in line for hours to get their hands on Taylor Swift’s merchandise. Swift walked out onto the stage and the stadium filled with excited screams from her fans. Unlike other popular artists, Swift sounds just like her recordings do.

Growing up, like most little girls, Taylor Swift was one of my first favorite artists. Top hits like her songs “Shake it Off” or “Bad Blood” drew me into her music. While I loved Swift’s music, my mom loved her even more. My mom took me to her concert for my ninth birthday. From what I remember, the atmosphere of the stadium felt the exact same both times I saw her in concert. I felt safe in that environment where people of all ages came to enjoy something we all love. On the other hand, this concert is very expensive. If you want to go see Taylor Swift, be prepared for it to cost an arm, leg, and vital organ depending on the seat. Tickets for the Fox borough Era’s Tour ranged from $499 – $14,198. Although, this was a great show and Taylor Swift puts her all into these performances, I think these prices were a little outrageous.

All in all, the Taylor Swift Era’s Tour concert was one of the best experiences I’ve had, and I will cherish that memory forever. I highly recommend seeing her in concert if you are a Taylor Swift fan like me and have the extra spending money.
