Hi, my name is Liam Murray I'm a senior at Triton High school. I do winter and spring track and in the summer I work at a boat camp for kids, I enjoy hiking and swimming in my free time. I don't intend on making a career out of journalism however I do like it because it's not like a math class where you just come every day and take notes, you get out and meet interesting people and hear their stories and report to your peers informing them about important things. Being a journalist is important because we live in confusing times, although we're at the peak of technology and live in the “information age” there are lots of false reports out there and people oblivious to current events or concepts. After high school and after attending a 4-year college I intend to work somewhere where I can do something I enjoy that helps make the world a better place, Preferably on the water.
