Jack Carroll, Staff Writer
- My name is Jack Carroll and I am a senior at Triton High School. Inside of school I am very active in the performing arts. I play trombone in the marching band, concert band, and jazz band, and I also sing in the men’s choir and jazz choir. Outside of school I like to research political data and hang out with my friends. I am enjoying journalism so far because I am able to write about topics that I am interested in, and I get to listen to other people’s perspectives from interviews. This year I hope to write a lot about current events, especially anything in the political world. I think journalism and the school newspaper are important for high schools because it allows students to stay informed about local and national issues. After high school I plan to attend college to study political science. After college I hope to become a political analyst or data cruncher for political statistics because I am good with numbers and am fascinated by all political data.
