My name is Joe Luciano. I am 16 years old and a junior at Triton High School. I’m from Rowley and in the newspaper, I like to cover any story relating to business or finances. In my free time, I like to keep up with the stock market and make trades myself on various plays that I see value in. I’ve started several e-commerce businesses that have all been short term. I currently think college is overpriced and that most students don’t understand the debt they are putting themselves in. With that said I would do the cheapest and fastest option to get a bachelor’s degree just to then get a CFP certification and then work in the financial field either as a planner or just for myself. I believe the economy will crash hard within the next couple of years and I really don’t want to be be debt driven looking for a job.
As for journalism, I enjoy writing about whats current and seeing a preview in the news before it’s available. I think journalism is important because it keeps people informed with all of the latest stories.
