Many Triton students who drive themselves to school every day find an identity in their vehicles. In this investigation, the Triton Voice found the top three most popular and least popular car makes and models students drive.
We asked five different students what car they drive and what they thought was the most popular car driven here at Triton
Triton senior Lukas Rainsford said, “I drive a Honda Accord. “The most popular car at Triton, he said, was “probably a Honda Pilot, like the old ones. I feel like I see a lot of them.”
Triton senior Jimmy Bradshaw said, “I drive a 2016 Toyota Camry LE” and thinks the most popular car is “probably like a Prius or an Accord”
Triton senior Andrew Balkus was straight to the point “Honda Pilot” “Honda Civic”
Triton senior William Hight said, “I drive a Volkswagen Golf, it drives like a go cart, I think.” “I’d say the most common would be a Chrysler PT cruiser… Convertible”
Triton senior Tyler Brosch said, “I drive a Toyota 4Runner.” “Honda Accords and Civics are pretty common, I think.”
The investigation noted each car in both the side and back parking lots and found that Toyota, Honda, and Jeep were the most popular makes of vehicles, with Toyota and Honda tied at a count of 26 each. The most popular Toyota was the Toyota Camry with seven total, and the most popular Honda was the Honda Accord with seven as well. The most popular Jeep (twelve) was the Jeep Grand Cherokee with a count of five.
