Veteran Day
As Veterans Day comes right around the corner, make sure to thank people you know who served for our country. Triton High School is installing a chair at the turf field in honor of our veterans. This hair will represent gratitude, honor, and respect for our veterans and their families.
In Newburyport on Thursday, November 10th, there will be a parade and ceremony open to the public. The ceremony will start at 11 a.m. and will last about 45 minutes followed by the parade.
Newburyport’s captain, Jessica Berkhoudt, of the Newburyport Salvation Army will give the invocation. Local scouts will follow her by singing the Pledge of Allegiance. The National Anthem will be sung by their own High School Marching Band. If you don’t have anything to do, you should attend this ceremony and thank the people who are protecting us and our freedoms.
