Ugo Nascimento

Ugo Nascimento, Staff Writer

To whoever reads this, my name is Ugo Nascimento and this is my last year at Triton High School.

I usually don’t do anything in school, I just joined the art club this year, maybe because I don’t have an art class, and I low key miss it. Outside of school I usually just work, I’m a server at a restaurant near my house, I live in Rowley ,if I didn’t mention that before. What else? What else? I have a sister, Maria Clara, she’s eight, she doesn’t do much either. My brother is 20. His name is Ian, my parents thought it would be really fun to make our names match, as if we already don’t look like twins. I read sometimes but most of the time I just watch Family Guy and cook.

I’ve always like to write things, not essays and articles per say but putting my thoughts on paper is very rewarding to me. I like the idea of being a journalist though, you begin to focus on tiny spots on the busy spins of the world to find incredible stories.

Giving students their own space to share what they have an interest on is important to make them more comfortable and heard, students are the first ones to notice what needs to change around campus, and since the student’s well-being is main focus of the school, we should have an outlet to share our ideas and concerns with the board.

I want to do something involving education and liberal arts, I want to be a source of wisdom just like my mom who is a teacher and actually all teachers around me.
