Hi, my name is Ava Brown, and I’m a junior at Triton High School.

I like to sleep, spending time with my  boyfriend and with my friends. And I love when my 2 older sisters come over, cause I get to see my three young nephews.

I like being able to express myself and write about what’s important to me. I wanna get better at understanding the different parts of the newspaper and how they all help explain the story I’m telling.

I think journalism is important since it helps give more of a personal insight into what’s going on, and it’s a better way to connect than using an electronic device. It gives people the chance to talk to other people in their community to show people from other places how we all can connect to one another.

I’m going to be looking into going into cosmetology and business, so I can eventually have my own salon one day.
