Another Democratic debate took place last night in Charleston, South Carolina. The candidates on stage were Former NYC Mayor Mike Bloomberg, Mayor Pete Buttigieg, Senator Elizabeth Warren, Senator Bernie Sanders, Former Vice President Joe Biden, Senator Amy Klobuchar, and Tom Steyer. According to a CNN analysis, the winners of the debate were Buttigieg, Sanders, Biden, and Klobuchar. The democrats debated several topics including racial equality, healthcare, education, and marijuana. Another statement from CNN similarly claimed that the debate consisted of the candidates throwing slant back and forth at each other as well as that it overall “was not a great night for the democratic party.”
