Patriots Perfect season comes to a fall 

Tom Brady and the Patriots undefeated season has come to a fall as the Ravens stomp over them. 

The Ravens and Lamar Jackson take down the Patriots using the college style offense as the patriots just didn’t seem up to speed on defense. After this loss the media really put the loss on the defense as they let up 37 points even though there the top defense in the league and prior to this game had let up only 3 points this season, which is record setting(Espn). 

 For the Patriots to all lose like this after starting off to such a hot start, people start to question if Tom Brady is getting too old and slow for the game as Lamar Jackson looked like a running back at the QB position making Brady look like an old dog on the field. With all of the young talent coming into this league and Tom starting to slack, it is not looking good for the patriots. Brady has taken a down fall this year when coming to having a lower completion percentage and a higher interception rate while even throwing a lower average of yards each game which is a big downfall for the Patriots as there defense looks incredible.  Although Brady  has had many seasons where he played outstanding he has had seasons where he was in a slump for a while.

Seeming very relaxed Jack O’keefe stated  “Knowing him he’s probably just in a slump because how could he just drop off like that.” 

Even though Tom Brady doesn’t usually have that many slumps, he did not have one of his best games of the year as all of the fans are hoping he isn’t going into a slump, or getting to old. With Brady only throwing 20 of 46 completions, one touchdown, and one interception he did not do enough for the team as they needed as their defense which is ranked number one in the league got destroyed by Jackson running a college offense.  

Jesse wilkonson thinks “Tom is getting too old as all of these new players coming into the league are able to take huge hits and willing to run the ball for their team, which Tom is too old and slow for as the quarterbacks and the league changes.”

Over the years Brady has been the top quarterback to go to in fantasy but this year he took a drop as lamar jackson passed him mostly based on the fact the Jackson can run like crazy. This year Brady was still projected to have one of the most points in fantasy but when the season came around he didn’t meet expectations to fantasy drafters. 

Upset with himself Mason Ferrick stated “I had the first pick in my draft and I was hesitant between brady and Jackson, but ended up going with Brady since I’m a Pats fan, but I did regret that decision right after week one. “

With Brady not doing as well as expected this year in fantasy, since he is throwing more interceptions this year people are being surprised with his outcome and actually are screwing some teams over by picking him first. Although he had one pretty bad game he still is looked at as the GOAT,  even if he is getting to old and not quick enough for the league.
