The name behind both Sage and Jeremy Duford come with a story. Their wrestling careers here at Triton High have impacted the team so much. Jeremy is (5-0) so far into this season. The high hopes of the team going to CAL’s this year falls on Jeremy, just as it did his older brother Sage in 2011-2015.

Jeremy is a junior he’s a student at  Triton High, he has influenced his team strongly with his back fighting and snap downs. He wrestles in the 126 and 132 weight classes.  His career season so far comes with, seven takedowns, one reversals, four pins, and twenty-two near falls.

 

  • How long have you been wrestling?

 

This is my third year so, two years.

  1.       What made you want to wrestle?

Well, my sister managed and she’s 23. Then, my brother sage wrestled. Josh also wrestled and he’s my best friend.

   3.How has your experience in wrestling influence you?

Hard work and discipline.

  1.     With you brother wrestling, how did that influence you to wrestle?

Well, at first, he didn’t want me to wrestle, because I was his little brother and I was a loser. Then, like, once he learned how to wrestle he showed me the moves and then, wanted me to wrestle.

  5.What is the most satisfying win of your wrestling career so far?

My win against Belmont this year, I flipped the kid.

  6.Who is your biggest threat you look forward to?

Nick Johnson, I’ve seen him pin Lewi L,Heureux.

  7.Do you see yourself as a captain next year?

I hope so.

  1.    In the future with your kids, would you influence/push them to wrestling?

Absolutely, make them strong and tough. They would also be hard workers
