Everyone loves a good sweet slice of cake or pie after a meal. These recipes are for mouth watering and amazing desserts that will make your meal.

Marble Cake

This cake is the best cake out there, not too dry, not too soggy. This was made for my birthday every year since I was ten years old. This cake goes perfectly when frosted with a mocha (coffee-chocolate) frosting. This recipe has passed from my grandmother on my father’s side now to my family where my mother and I love to bake it.

Ingredients:

In a small bowl:

-3 cups of flour

-3 teaspoons of baking powder

-¼ teaspoon salt

In a large bowl:

-2 sticks of melted butter

-1 ½ cups of sugar

-1 egg

Keep Seperate:

-1 bakers chocolate cube

-1 ½ cups of milk

-1 teaspoon of vanilla

Directions:

Mix together the butter and sugar until smooth and add in the egg. Add the dry mix to the wet mix slowly mixing completely after every addition. Add vanilla to the batter and split into 2 even bowls. Melt the baker’s chocolate and mix into one of the bowls.

Grease a pan, place a small amount of the vanilla batter in 2 opposite sides of the pan, while adding chocolate in between those so you have a cake with each fourth alternating chocolate and vanilla.

Use a toothpick or spatula to slightly blend the chocolate into the vanilla a little bit. Heat oven to 350 degrees and bake.

Take out when a toothpick placed in the cake comes out with no batter on it, meaning it’s fully cooked. Take out of the pan and frost with your desired frosting.

Amazing Apple Pie

This apple pie is juicy, sweet, tart, and deliciously soft. Another home-recipe from my mother who is an amazing baker. The apples we use are usually picked by us and used in the pie which just makes it so much better.

Ingredients:

-¼ cup of all purpose flour

-⅔ cup of brown sugar

-1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon

-¼ teaspoon of nutmeg

-½ teaspoon of cloves

-dash of cardamom

-dash of ginger

-8 cups of thinly sliced baking apples

-2 tablespoons of butter

Directions:

Place one pastry crust in a pie pan using flour to make it non stick. In a large bowl mix apples with the brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, cardamom, ginger, and the butter.

Place the apple mixture in the pie crust and place the other pastry crust on top. Crimp the edges of the crusts together and remove any extra.

Bake at 350, until crust browns around edges or on top.
