NH1 MotorPlex

Sometimes it seems like there is not much to do around this area on a rainy day or during the winter months, there is no beaches open and by this age we have every indoor thing we can hundreds of times. Until now.

This September in Seabrook, New Hampshire a new indoor go-karting place opened, called NH1 MotorPlex. The electric go-karts are very fast and can reach up to 45 mph in an adult go-kart and 20 mph in a junior go-kart which is good for the quarter mile long track they have.

I was unsure of how expensive a race would be. For just one race, which is about 14 laps,  it was $20 plus another seven dollars for a “annual membership license” which is required to race.

Many people have complained that they waited hours for their race to begin in the reviews and that they were very unhappy with their experience.

Personally, I only waited about 10 minutes for my race and I didn’t mind waiting because there was lots of comfortable couches to wait on and there were a lot of games to play while I waited also.

A lot of go-karting places are sketchy and make me feel unsure and unsafe about driving the karts but I felt very safe driving these karts and the employees did a good job thoroughly explaining how to drive them and be safe.

I will definitely be returning to NH1 MotorPlex and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for something fun to do over vacation.
