Best Places to Eat

There are many good, local places to get food, but here are some of the best ones. The Agawam Diner located in Rowley is a local favorite. “They’re food is really good, it’s a nice place to go with all my friends and it’s really affordable,” said Carisa Boyle. The Agawam is best known for their amazing breakfast food. When Agawam Diner comes to mind, “comfort food” is what most people think of. They are open 5am-10pm Monday through Saturday and are closed on Sunday. Stop in and see what you think of this fan favorite!

Marie’s Restaurant located in Salisbury is a very popular breakfast and lunch restaurant. “I’m family friends with one of the owners and it’s a really welcoming environment, said Salisbury resident Jessica Hood. “It’s one of the best breakfast places in the area.” It’s convenient location on the beach makes it a perfect spot during the summer time. Marie’s Restaurant provides amazing food for a good price. The workers are very nice and welcoming and it is said the be the best place in town to get breakfast food!

The Cottage located on Plum Island is a new ice cream shop. It is known for its unique way of displaying ice cream.  If you’re into eating ice cream on the beach The Cottage is the perfect place! “I love how you can get ice cream in between cookies like an ice cream sandwich, it’s different then most ice cream shops in a good way,” said Onica Mooney. While The Cottage has ice cream for the kids, they also have a wide variety of beer and wine so the parents can relax too. Definitely put this island shop on your bucket list next summer!
