If you had a Magic Wand , What Would you Change about the School ?

Senior Jill O’Neill has a problem with the bathrooms . O’Neill thinks the bathrooms are disgusting and if she was given a magic wand she would change them.

“I would change the bathrooms. I go to the staff bathrooms because I hate going to the regular bathrooms. There is no door, and one of the toilets leak.” – Senior Jill O’Neill

Students at Triton High School spend 7 hours a day 5 days a week, walking the same halls, using the same classrooms, and becoming familiar with the school like it’s the back of their hand. After spending all that time here, kids start to notice that there is things that they would change about the school. Different kids from different grades were asked “If you had a magic wand what would you change about the school?” Their answers follow.

“I would change the library policy. I would change it back to how it was last year when people had a break during the day and worked collaboratively with their friends.” – Senior Kyle McKendry

“I would change the bathrooms. They need to be cleaned and redone” – Junior Sammy Rennick

“The bathrooms because one of the toilets leak, there’s never paper towels, and there’s no door. ” – Junior Elisabeth Lindholm

“I would change the rule that we can’t leave during school. I think that seniors should be
allowed to leave or come in late if they have a study first or last.”  – Senior Amelia Flynn

“I would make certain people and teachers disappear and I wouldn’t let them return.” – Senior Aimee Azevedo

“I would bring back the vending machines because I would buy a snack every period and now that they’re gone I’m just hungry all day.” – Junior Kelly Kozlowski

“I think that I would want the library to go back to the way it used to be. It was so much better before and my favorite part of the day.” – Sophomore Jesse Wilkinson

“I would change the school start time. I would push back the start of school an hour so that I could get more sleep and wouldn’t be falling asleep in my classes.” – Sophomore Kaelyn Scalley
