Mr. Joseph Colbert has been a teacher for eighteen years. Colbert’s first year teaching was in 1992 in Houston, Texas. Since he has been in elementary school he has  always wanted to be a teacher. The thing he loves most about teaching is the kids. Colbert has always taught high school. Colbert has experienced things that work and don’t when it comes to teaching, he has made changes and became more organized. He subbed as a middle school teacher but realized high school was where he wanted to be. “This is exactly where I’m supposed to be” said Colbert. Not only is he a excellent English teacher he is also a great track coach! Colbert is a dedicated to both his teaching and coaching.
