Top Five Best Coffee Shops

Shannon Lanphear, Staff Writer

1) Zumies

This coffee shop is located in downtown Ipswich. They serve great quality coffee and bagels and other quick breakfast foods. The carmel cloud is my personal favorite. They have a station to add your own cream and sugar so you can make it exactly how you want it.

2) Dunkin Donuts

A well known fast-food chain with locations all around the country, but also in many areas near us, Rowley, Ipswich, Newburyport, Salisbury, etc, this quick, easy and delicious coffee is a student go-to for school and in the mornings to get their days started off right.

3) Soufflés

Located on a corner in Downtown Newburyport, the small, but homey shop serves all types of coffee along with scones, pastries, etc. The coffee shop is mainly known for its chocolate and vanilla chai lattes.

4) Plum Island Coffee Roasters

Located in Downtown Newburyport, this place is a hidden gem. It is located near the Black Cow Restaurant and often goes unnoticed. This great quality coffee has flavors ranging from your typical coffee flavors to their own created flavors such as, twix, york patty, sugar daddy, almond joy, and more. They also serve pastries, bagels, sandwiches, wraps, and soups.

5) Starbucks

Also, a well-known chain which carries high end, expensive, but delicious coffees and teas of all different flavors. Starbucks also has frappes and easy packaged grab and go meals.
