Fans get ready for Taylor Swift’s new release remake of the 1989 album and the many songs that have been in the vault.

Taylor swift, 33, is a very known singer/songwriter and has had a long successful career. Swifts released her debut album on October 24, 2006 and since then she has made over 10 that have all done extremely well. After her contract broke in 2018, Taylor made her decision to remake her first 6 old albums into her own. Starting with Fearless(taylors version) and just releasing her 1989 (Taylor version) album on Oct. 27 of this year. Taylors idea with remaking “her” old albums was to make them her own, literally. She decided on her first 6 albums because then she would be considered to be owning all of her music. The original recordings of her first six albums were owned by a record label, which is often the case. However, they were eventually sold to a private equity firm, which Swift publicly opposed. Now Swift is re-recording and releasing the songs that had been sold, and she’s including songs on each album that were previously unreleased, known as vault songs. Each re-recorded song and album title proudly includes a reminder that you are listening to “Taylor’s Version.”

The new 1989(taylors version) album is filled with originality and feelings. Each song gives the listener something to relate to and make their own in a way. Some songs from the album that I enjoy and the emotion it gives are…..

  • wonderland “Didn’t you flash your green eyes at me? Didn’t you calm my fears with a Cheshire cat smile? The emotion that comes out of the songs is the ups and downs of a relationship and the weird things that happen that you have no control of when being in a relationship.

  • welcome to new york “The lights are so bright, but they never blind me, me -Welcome to New York, it’s been waitin’ for you -Welcome to New York, welcome to New York” This songs brings up beat and lots of power, its taylor swift’s new benganing when moving in the big apple and the excitement she has.

  • out of the woods “Remember when you hit the brakes too soon? -Twenty stitches in a hospital room-When you started crying, baby, I did too -But when the sun came up, I was looking at you” This song is sad and full of fighting for the relationship. It’s about getting out of the hard and rocky part of the relationship and moving forward.

Taylor swift and her clever words make this album fun, but also relatable. She was younger and had more youth to her which plays a part in the new album, favoritism towards herself and the other music she brings along. Taylor does a great job with the catchiness with the sounds and wording, which gets appealed by young kids, teens, and even adults. Big part of her songwriting is relationships and the ups and downs, in which teenagers can relate to by listening to her.  Taylor does a fantastic job with involving fans with dropping easter eggs and hidden messages in songs. Overall taylor is never going out of style, will construct keeping up with her reputation as one of the most popular singer and songwriter.
