Hi! My name is Sophia Stanley and I am a junior at Triton High School. I have 4 siblings, 2 older brothers, 1 little sister, and 1 younger brother. Both of my brothers are now graduated, my younger sister is in the 3rd grade and my brother just turned 3 months.

I play Field hockey and Lacrosse. Field hockey is definitely my number 1 sport though. Outside of school, I enjoy watching new movies, hanging out with friends, baking/ cooking, and I love to be outside. In the summer I spend most of my time in the sun, especially at the beach.

I like journalism because I love how much it can bring everyone together. In journalism I am able to talk to new people, and learn about new trends, news stories, etc. I think being a part of the school newspaper is important because students tend to want to be reading about things they can relate to, and coming from a student they will be more intrigued to read it. 

After high school, I am thinking about pursuing cosmetology, but I am still keeping my options open.
