Hey, my name is Ryan Voltero, and I’m a junior at Triton High School. For starters, I play hockey for Triton. It is something I enjoy, and I’ve played for as long as I can remember. Something else I love is hanging out with my friends which I hope is something all you can relate to, we usually do the dumbest things we can think of but we have fun and its always a good time. Something I like about journalism is the fact we can spread important information around the school, and help inform the community; along with being able to connect it as well. I think being a journalist at Triton is important because it teaches you skills that help you socialize and connect to the people around you. It’s also very important to have media/journalism in communities so people can stay connected, it also opens doors for growth in a community. When I leave school I plan on living the best life I can. I always want to be around my friends and the people I hold close, and for a career, I’m thinking about becoming a stock broker as it is something that interests me now and something I can definitely make a career of when I’m older.
