Hi! My name is Maddie January. I am a senior at Triton High School. Outside of school I like to spend time with my friends and I enjoy playing softball. I have 4 step siblings, but biologically I am an only child. I love playing with my three dogs; Elsie, Charlie and Duggan. My favorite thing to do with my friends would have to be going to Red Sox games over the summer as well as going to the beach. At Triton, I also participate in yearbook club, as well as the DECA program.

I decided to take journalism for my senior year because I wanted to have the ability to write about things that interest me rather than a topic chosen by a teacher, and it has turned out to be just that. I enjoy being able to go out and talk to people, and do new things to present news to my peers at my school. I think participating in journalism and media is important because it tells everyone a jist of what is going on in the world around us.

After high school, I plan on attending a four-year college to major in marketing with a minor in communications. My goal is to work in a public relations/marketing and business after it all is said and done.
