Liam Dostie, Online editor/Staff Writer
Hello, I’m Liam Dostie and I am a junior at Triton High School. I am 17 and live about 3 minutes away from Triton. I am an online editor for Triton Voice and in journalism CP. I was in Boy Scouts for about 8 years before I moved to Byfield from NH. I like to go outside and build forts or campfires in the woods, or find a good view to sit at. I used to skate but mostly fell out of it after freshman year. I love to listen to music and find new music to add to my playlist. I have a brother who is almost 8 and a dog.
I also like cars but I’m having some trouble getting one of my own. I used to work at Rusty Can and Wyatt’s Market. I don’t think I have a future in being a journalist, but I do enjoy partaking in-class activities and interviewing different Triton students. Writing and passing out the newspaper is always fun, especially if your story is in it. I think newspapers and journalism are important within the Triton community because not everyone is connected, so having a paper with all of the school’s events and happenings at your disposal is useful. If you decided to pick up a copy and read it, you could find something you never knew about your school. After high school, I will most likely look for a stable job that I could make a living off of. I’d maybe attend a community college, but only if I needed education for a job I wanted. I’d like to be an auto-mechanic, welder, firefighter or boxer.
