My name is Emily Hoggard, and I’m a junior at Triton High School. I enjoy sports, I play volleyball, basketball, and softball. I have two dogs and a bird, and I enjoy listening to music. I like journalism because it is all informational news that is truthful, and I enjoy learning about events going on around school and in the community. I think journalism is important because it is a source for truthful information about the world and events happening around the reader. I want to study criminology and psychology in college and go into the criminology field, specifically forensics, because I want to be able to help people and the idea of criminal psychology is fascinating to me.
