Cassidy Beebe, Staff Writer and Social Media Editor
Hi! My name is Cassidy Beebe. I’m a junior at Triton High School.
I am an only child and have been living in Salisbury my whole life. I’ve been cheering for Triton for 2 years now and love all the friendships and skills I’ve learned throughout the sport. Outside of school, I take a dance class once a week at Kadees Tumbleweed, I’ve been dancing for 11 years now. I also enjoy hanging out with friends and family as often as I can. Some hobbies I enjoy are painting and listening to music.
As my first year in journalism class, I am proud to say my first two articles made it into the paper! So far in journalism this year I enjoy writing articles for my peers at my school to read about the latest news they may or may not have known or heard of yet. I’ve always loved writing more creative writing pieces, so I enjoy this class so far this year.
Being a journalist in high school and writing for the school newspaper is important to me because it is for the people I attend school with, and to be able to know what is happening in local events or even about the district. I find it to be exciting to be able to give this information through my writing and other people’s opinions or facts. I also find it important and fun because my friends and family get to read my writing that gets put in the Triton Voice paper.
I’ve always had a love for animals. The career I’d love to pursue in college is to be a Vet Tech. I want to take a Vet Tech program that could eventually change my mind and start reaching to become a Veterinarian.
