Hi! My name is Asher Clifford. I’m a junior at Triton High School. I enjoy listening to and making music after school. I work at a hardware store in Newburyport, and I have 2 sisters. You may see me going downtown with my friends as well! I enjoy getting to know others around the district, interviewing students, which helps me get out of my comfort zone. I believe every student at Triton should know what’s going on behind the scenes, and I’ll take it into my hands to put it out there! I believe that being a journalist is important because it’s a way to let people know what’s really happening in the world. As for writing for the school newspaper, it allows me to show students what’s really happening in the district. I would like to do something important that would have people look at me in a different way. I like writing, so I’d probably pursue a path where I could write anything I want to.
