Anthony Navaroli, Staff Writer & Sports Editor
Salutations, my name is Anthony Navaroli. I’m a senior in the class of 25’ at Triton Regional High School.
Apart from writing in journalism, I play sports during all seasons: football, wrestling, and finally track/field. I work at Anne Jacques Hospital as a dietary aide in the kitchen alongside my brother Jason Navaroli. Sports has always been a huge part of my life and I intend to keep it with me as long as possible.
Regarding journalism, I enjoy writing freely about topics that interest me rather than topics that I’m forced to write on. I like to write about the journeys people have taken to reach their current standings and their triumphs. A goal I’m setting for myself this year in journalism is just to have fun and enjoy the process.
I do think journalism is important to have. It’s one of the easiest ways to voice your opinion in a public format. People could only agree or disagree, but it still brings it to their attention.
After high school is over, I wish to embark on my nursing career as well as ROTC. With this combination, I have many choices for a career path after college. I can work in the military and save lives or decide that I just wish to be a nurse. Of course, though, I have to play football in college.
