Mrs.Carla Wagner is a English teacher at Triton, She is not only a teacher, she is also a friend to most of her students. She has been teaching for nearly 20 years. Wagner got her Masters degree at Fitchburg University. She fell in love with teaching after subbing to earn extra money while in school. She met a special education teacher who begged her to come and see what it’s like in the classroom and that led to her becoming a special ed aide. Both Wagner’s parents are teachers, so it must be in her blood. Wagner’s favorite thing about being a teacher is getting to know her students and them coming back to see her after they had already graduated. “I love seeing the light bulb go off. You can see it in there face once they get it”, says Wagner.
