New holiday beverages from Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks

Stay in the holiday spirit all season long with new festive coffee flavors presented by Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks.  Two new flavors brought to you by Dunkin Donuts are Peppermint Mocha and Brown Sugar Cinnamon, which you can either enjoy iced or hot.  

Former employee of Dunkin Donuts, Nathan Davies, tells us a little about the seasonal drinks.  “The most popular drink would be Peppermint Mocha iced coffee,” says Davies.  The price for Dunkins iced coffee/hot coffee ranges from $1.59 to $2.79 depending on whether you purchase a small, medium, or large coffee.

Three new flavors brought to you by Starbucks are Peppermint Mocha, Caramel Brulee Latte, and Toasted White Chocolate Mocha, which you can either enjoy hot, iced, or blended.  The price for Starbucks iced coffee/hot coffee ranges from $2.95 to $4.95 depending whether you purchase a tall, grande, venti, and trenta coffee.  

The Triton Voice captured two sources to which side these coffee lovers enjoy the most.  Coach Mac tells us, “I like Dunkin Donuts taste of the regular coffee over Starbucks, Starbucks almost tastes burnt to me.”  Another source, Erin Dempsey tells us, “ I like Starbucks better.  You can customize your drink, there are so many more menu options and the baristas are knowledgeable and give suggestions.  The also put out a better product and have strong marketing campaigns.  I always want to try the new things they put out there because of the way the company presents it.”
