To celebrate the end of the fall sports and all they’ve accomplished, there was an assembly held on Thursday morning.
Ms. Stacey Beaulieu spoke in front of the high school and shared how each fall sports team did, and she recognized some individuals.
The Vikings football team is moving on with their season still, as well as their cheerleaders who competed at regionals on Sunday, November 12. The girls came in second place, and moved onto states.
Both the boys and girls cross country teams had a very good season with team members from both teams placing at CALs. Colin Brennan and Liam Gay-Killeen were named as All-Stars by the Cape Ann League. The girl’s team finished with a record of 6-4.
The girl’s field hockey team made it all the way to semi-finals this year. It was a great season for them. Player of the year was Julia Cordeau, and Bridget Sheehan and Gianna Conte were also named All-Stars at the assembly.
The boy’s soccer team only won one game this year. The total record for the boys was ten losses, five ties, and one win. Ross and Cole Lojek were named All-Stars and Vasilios Karamitsios scored the most goals. The girl’s team had a similar season to the boy’s team. Merideth Kennedy and Bella Lesinski were named All-Stars.
The Golf Team kept their winning streak alive and came in first again in the Cape Ann League, it was another great year for them.
