Mrs. Brisbois Is Here To Stay!
Brisbois had a bright smile and a happy voice when the Triton Voice interviewed her on the 17th of September, asking her numerous questions in regards to her experiences at Triton so far and how she feels about the students.
Ms. Jamie Salvatore and Mrs. Rebecca Bibeau Are Hyped to See Improvements!
Ms. Salvatore is a fellow counselor to Brisbois in the middle school guidance room, meaning Salvatore will be working closely to Brisbois whenever she (Brisbois) is working there. When she’s not working there, she works in the middle school REACH room.
The Impact Is Tremendous.
Brisbois’s colleague and mentor, Salvatore, has only positive thoughts about her. “She is very fun to work with,” said Salvatore. Many people have reported how well Brisbois works with her students, Salvatore said.
How Does She Plan to Move Forward?
Brisbois believes the best way to get students to open up is humor“I think humor really gets kids out of their shells,” Brisbois said.
Is she new to this?
Brisbois has worked as a counsellor before, but never in a program quite like REACH. “At my old school we had a program similar to REACH, so when I saw this job I took it,” said Brisbois, “I’m very excited to see how it plays out.”
