Triton has recently taken a bold stance outlawing all technology in the school, requiring students and teachers to return to the golden age of paper and textbooks.
Students have been having mixed reactions to this news. Some of the kids who are addicted to technology don’t even want to come to school anymore, however others like Anthony Navaroli, a senior here at Triton High School think the opposite.
“I think that this is the best decision that they have made since covid,” said Navaroli.
On the other hand, teachers are happy because this means that students will be forced to start paying attention in class now. They will no longer be able to scroll through TikTok or play games on their phones.
“Finally, the kids won’t be on their chatterboxes anymore,” said math teacher Mrs. Galante.
However the school is running into one big problem. Recently the school budget was frozen for the year, meaning that the school isn’t ordering any more supplies. The paper supply is currently very low and will be for the rest of the year. Paper experts estimated that we only have enough paper to last us three weeks.
In the basement lay the solution. Behind all of the monsters, spiders, and cobwebs, a bright light shined through. A long forgotten educational tool, the chalkboard. Last time they were used was back in the 80’s, but they are going to reintroduce the old chalk and chalkboard duo.
