The Boston Celtics broke Cleveland Cavaliers’ 15-game win streak in a thrilling game. On Tuesday, November 19th the Celtics secured a close 120-117 victory at the TD Garden. The Cavaliers went into the game hoping to extend their winning streak to 16-0 but the defending champions had other plans. Boston’s three-point shooting was a huge winning factor, as the team nailed an impressive 22 shots from beyond the arc. Leading charge for the Celtics was Jayson Tatum, a NBA champion and two time Olympic gold medalist who put up 33 points and had 12 rebounds by himself last night to help the Celtics end the Cavaliers winning streak. Although the Celtics built a commanding 21-point lead in the third quarter, the Cavaliers fought back with star guard Donovan Mitchell scoring 18 points in the 4th quarter to almost lead his team back to win the game, but they couldn’t get the job done. In the end, Boston held its ground, closing out their game to improve their record to 12-3 and solidify their position as a top contender in the East.

Hi, My name is Jackson Mace, and I’m a senior at Triton High School, Outside of school, I enjoy getting food with my friends, spend time with my brother Ashton, playing with my dogs, and watching sports like hockey and football. I enjoy taking journalism because it lets me tell important stories and keep the Triton community informed. My goals for the school newspaper are to cover all sports topics, and get more students in the know about sport both locally and nationally. After high school I plan to go to college for business. While I haven't decided on a specific school or major yet, I aspire to pursue a career in commercial real estate, inspired by my father’s 25 years of experience in the field of real estate and the wealth of knowledge he has to share with me.
