This is the second entry of an occasional series in which I will profile different Triton athletes in our school. This athlete is Ryan Farrell, captain of the Viking football team. He sat down with us to talk about this season and how he thinks it will go and his past memories from previous seasons.

TV: When did you start playing football?

RF: I started playing football in 3rd grade.

TV: Why did you start playing
football?

RF: I don’t know I just enjoyed it. My family played before me, both my dad and my brother.

TV: What is your outlook on this season?

RF: We had a rough start in the beginning of the season. Our goal this week against Amesbury though is to get a win and get the season back on track. Start winning some games before the playoffs.

TV: What is your favorite memory of your sport/team so far?

RF: Beating Pentucket on Thanksgiving last year. That was pretty good.

TV: What is your worst sport?

RF: Worst sport… The worst sport is baseball, that’s probably the worst sport I’ve ever played. I was the worst at it.

TV: What are your plans for after high school?

RF: I’m looking to play football in college. Both D2 and D3. I’m looking at WPI and Assumption.
