Who Has The Best Chicken Nuggets?
Everyone has their own favorite fast food restaurant to get nuggets, but which fast food restaurant can sustain its flavor, hours after purchasing?

Sitting in front of us is a variety of greasy paper bags from different fast food places. Inside each bag are chicken nuggets waiting to be tasted.
Unfortunately, we were quarantined at the time of the review so we needed to have the chicken delivered to us. We knew when the nuggets got to us, they would be cold, so we based our opinions on which fast food restaurant had the best cold chicken nuggets.
We ordered chicken from Mcdonald’s, Wendys, Burger King, and Chick-Fil-A. To give each of them a fair chance, they were all dipped in Chick-Fil-A sauce. There wasn’t much reasoning behind the restaurants we chose, these were just the most popular in our area that we could think of.
The Mcdonald’s chicken nuggets were very disappointing. When cold, they had a sponge-like consistency and they lacked flavor. On a scale of one to ten, we would rate them a 3. According to the Mcdonald’s website’s nutrition facts, the nuggets are cooked with vegetable oil.
The Wendy’s chicken nuggets actually surprised us. While being cold, they were still very crispy and had some good flavor. We rate these an eight out of ten. According to “Fast Food Nutrition ”, Wendy’s nuggets, like Mcdonalds, are cooked in vegetable oil.
Next, we tried the Chick-Fil-A nuggets. These were very good, still crispy, still flavorful, and were still juicy when we bit into them hours after purchasing. We would give them a rating of ten out of ten. Unlike the other restaurants, these nuggets are cooked in peanut oil. (According to the Chick-Fil-A website). All of the nuggets had very similar ingredients but Chick-Fil-A was the only nugget containing paprika.
Lastly, we tried the Burger King nuggets. Even just picking up the nugget we could tell it was not going to be very good. They had a powdery residue on them and they just tasted chalky. We rate these a one out of ten. According to “Fast Food Nutrition”, these nuggets are also cooked in vegetable oil.
After tasting all the different cold chicken nuggets, we concluded that Chick-Fil-A has the best cold nuggets, followed by Wendys, then Mcdonalds, and coming in last is Burger King.
If you want some chicken nuggets that you can leave out for hours and come back to whenever you want, we recommend Chick-Fil-A. We will definitely stay away from Burger King for all chicken nugget needs.
