Triton Senior Amelia Flynn has been going to school in the Triton Regional School District for her whole life. She started off at Salisbury elementary in K-6th grade. Flynn has always had a love for tennis since she was a little girl.

“Tennis has always been my favorite sport to play and still is today.” Tennis has helped Flynn stay positive when times are tough. “Tennis has been a great stress reliever.”

To get experience and worth with young children Flynn was given a special opportunity last summer. This past summer Flynn was a youth tennis coach at MIT college in Cambridge Massachusetts. She thoroughly enjoyed teaching the youth her favorite sport. “It was a fun experience to get to teach something I love.” This summer Flynn hopes to get more teaching opportunities if any are available locally.

Flynn has recently committed to the University of Maine in Orono ME. “I always knew I wanted to stay in New England for college, because of my puppies and family. Flynn is planning to dorm with another Triton senior, Kellie Corbin. “It will be a lot of fun to dorm with my best friend from elementary school”, States Flynn. “I am excited to see what my future in Orono holds for me.” “Go black bears!”
