Where Will I End Up?

Where do you plan to attend college and what do you intend to major in?

As June is approaching in just a few months, senior Tritonians will be saying their final goodbyes to one another and continue their journey to college. So the question still stands, where will students attend college and what will they major in? The Triton Voice met with various seniors to find out.

Senior Evan McParland does not know for sure where he will attend college, however, he has an idea.

“I’m not sure. Maybe I’ll go to Umass Amherst and hopefully get into the Isenberg for business but it all depends on money,” shared McParland.

The University of Massachusetts Amherst appears to be a popular college to consider, as well as the University of New Hampshire. These universities are not far from home, therefore they are definitely appropriate for those who become homesick easily or even miss their pets too often.

Senior Cameron Willey is headed in a similar direction to McParland.

“I’m probably going to UMass Amherst to have a good time and become a nurse,” shared Willey.

Senior Jaynee Colberg is searching for some sunshine in her college forecast, planning to attend a college in the south.

“I think I’m looking down south for schools and I want to study nursing. I eventually want to become a pediatric nurse practitioner because I love working with kids and I want to make a difference in people’s lives,” shared Colberg.

Senior Donna Ross has not yet decided where her path will take her, but she has a few options so far.

“I don’t know where I want to go yet, either the University of South Carolina or the University of Rhode Island. I want to go into nursing because I have always wanted to be in a profession that helps people and I love science so I thought it was the perfect fit,” shared Ross.

Whether it’s north or south, east or west, each and every senior will find their new homes, but hopefully they won’t forget about their special times at Triton Regional High School.
