The votes are in and have been counted – superlatives for the class of 2018 have been released.

Two weeks ago, seniors spent their advisory voting on superlatives for the senior class. After much debate over who would get what, the list was released on the Friday before Christmas break. The Triton Voice sat down with some winners to see how they felt about their new title. See who ended up winning each category for the Class of 2018!

Class Clown: Julia Rennie, Steven Particelli

  • “I can’t say I didn’t see this coming. It really is a gift to be able to make anyone laugh. And at the end, I’m glad that I got it with Steven too, even though he isn’t funny.” – Julia Rennie
  • “It’s pretty cool that Julia and I got it because we’re good friends.” – Steven Particelli

Best Smile: Emily Muzi, Dylan Leavitt

Most Likely to be On His/Her Phone: Katie MacDonald, Brandon Eppa

Most Generous: Sadie Woodward, Brandon Eppa

Best Dressed: Taylor Penniman, Owen Heffernan

  • “Here are some fashion tips. No jeans, only khakis. Sweats on a very rare occasion. No jeans, jeans are a no. In the warmer days, you can’t go shorts and a t-shirt, you have to go shorts and long sleeve or pants and short sleeve. You can’t do both. It has to be off set. Oh and layers, layers, layers. That’s very important. Also, you can’t wear two of the same colors for a shirt and pants.” – Owen Heffernan

Most Caffeinated: Shannon Lanphear, Justin Stanley

Best Friends: Julia Cordeau & Marlee Smith, Steven Particelli & Colin Ganzenmuller

  • “I’m so happy years from now I’ll be able to look back in my yearbook and remember the fun times my best friend and I had!” – Julia Cordeau
  • “(Colin and I) have known each other forever so it was cool that we were voted as best friends.” – Steven Particelli

Biggest Flirt: Sofie DeSimone, Ben Hall

  • “Chivalry is dead. My mom is going to be so proud.” – Ben Hall

Most Sleep Deprived: May Ganzenmuller, Cameron Willey

  • “My mom can’t know about this.” – May Ganzenmuller

Busiest Bee: Taylor Penniman, Stephen Baiardi

  • “I’m involved in every aspect of our high school community. From performing arts to athletics to student government, I like to be a part of everything. Take advantage of every opportunity I’m given.” – Stephen Baiardi

Best Procrastinator: Carly MacDonald, Henrik Ernst

  • “Well, I use a very strategic approach to complete my work. First of all, I don’t worry about it. If you don’t stress about things, then it’s easier to do it in the end. So, what I do is I get my work, I wait, take my time, look over it, make sure I know what I’m doing, then just do it, eventually. And that’s how you become the best procrastinator. You have to be tactical.” – Henrik Ernst
