As the winter is approaching, Triton students are forced to retire their flip flops and sandals for the next few months and break out those bulky winter shoes. Although the hot weather and sunshine may be leaving for a bit, this is the perfect opportunity for students to bust out a whole new wardrobe of fashionable footwear.

From men’s uggs to ski boots, Triton students shared their favorite types of winter footwear with The Voice.

“My favorite winter shoe is probably Uggs. Even though they’re usually on females, and I’ve never worn them in my life, they’re nice to look at. They look really comfy.”

– Henrik Ernst, senior

“My favorite winter shoe is moon boots. I wore them on my environmental field trip and they protected me from the cold and kept me really warm.”

– Apphia Donoghue, senior

“My favorite winter shoe is ski boots. This is because I like to ski and I like my ski boots.”

– Ross Lojek, senior

“My favorite winter shoe is my slippers because they’re perfect for Christmas and perfect to cuddle up for the holidays. I don’t remember where I got them.”

– Rachel Lees, senior

“My favorite winter shoe is the Uggs that I’m going to be getting. They’re comfy and stylish. I’m getting them for my birthday.”

– Cameron Willey, senior

“My favorite winter shoe is Uggs. They’re comfy and very warm.”

– Donna Ross, senior

“My favorite winter shoe is my LL Bean moccasin slippers. They feel like you’re walking on a fuzzy cloud and make the bad days go by quicker and turn happier. So comfy, I love them and highly recommend.”

– Julia Rennie, senior

“I like my slippers because they’re warm and go with a lot of outfits.”

– Gwen Norton, senior

No matter what type of footwear it is, Triton students know how to brave the New England weather and keep their feet warm this winter. If you’re looking for another item to add to your Christmas Wish List, consider these options that Triton students highly recommend.
